Education is the key

Education is a mind-expanding gift that can broaden horizons and enrich lives. Civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Education should teach deep and critical thinking. Intelligence and character are the goals of true education." But what happens when students lack the supportive environment and learning materials designed to help them achieve this goal?

• It could destroy their dream of becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
• It could lead to frustration and dropping out of school.
• It could lead to students becoming criminals.
• It could leave students lacking the basic information, wisdom,
  and knowledge to struggle or succeed when they finally find a job after school.

In this spirit, the Igbo Union Tübingen-Reutlingen e.V. Germany. To give something back, we intend to renovate the primary/secondary school below and equip it with learning materials that the students so desperately need to achieve their dreams, creating a conducive learning environment while empowering and preparing them for leadership roles of tomorrow.
